Important notes and safety information

The automatic grinding and polishing machine is a single-disk desktop machine, which is a new generation of high-precision and automatic grinding and polishing equipment for sample preparation process based on international standards and Advanced International Technology.

The rotating direction of the grinding and polishing plate can be arbitrarily selected, the grinding and polishing plate can be quickly replaced, and the multi-sample clamping test device and pneumatic single-point loading function. The machine adopts advanced microprocessor control system, so that the speed of grinding plate and grinding head can be adjusted steplessly, and the setting of sample preparation pressure and time is intuitive and convenient. The operation of grinding and polishing process can be completed only by changing the grinding and polishing plate, sandpaper and fabric. So that the machine shows a wider range of applications. The utility model has the advantages of stable rotation, safety and reliability, low noise, and the rigidity of grinding and polishing is increased by adopting a cast aluminum base.

Features of each component:

• Grinding head: including mechanical and Electrical Control, is an important part of the machine.
• Grinding and polishing head control panel: adjust the pressure control parameters.
• Grinding and polishing plate: also known as the“Work plate”, is an important part of the grinding and polishing test, the sandpaper, Flannelette and other supplies fixed on the above, the sample for grinding and polishing.

4. Installation and precautions

1. the equipment must be well grounded and must use a three-pole standard power outlet!
2. equipment shall be installed on a stable, vibration-free work surface with an ambient temperature of 5 °C-30 °C, relative humidity < 85% , and free from corrosive gases and conductive dust.
3. move the whole machine to a stable working table, connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the equipment and open the two rotary water taps respectively to check whether the inlet and outlet pipes are smooth and the connecting parts can not leak.
4. position and position the equipment according to the water intake and drainage conditions and adjust the four adjustable shock pads to make the equipment basically level and stable.
5. the grinding and polishing plate can be quickly replaced. hold the grinding and polishing plate in both hands and gently lift it up and down. hold the other grinding and polishing plate in both hands and observe that the three piston rod holes of the grinding and polishing plate are basically corresponding to the three piston rods, when one of the holes feels corresponding, slightly swing the grinding plate to make the other two corresponding, then insert the plate flat, and then manually control the pressure, so that the underside of the grinding plate and the positioning surface  of the grinding seat are in complete contact.
6. installation methods for metallographic sanding paper and polished fabrics

   Wipe up the upper surface of the polishing plate, paste the metallographic sandpaper or polishing fabric with pressure sensitive adhesive on it, visually observe the distance between the sandpaper or fabric and the edge of the plate is basically the same, press evenly by hand to make it stick firmly.

7. how to install the gripper

   If you need to replace the gripper, you can loosen the two nuts on the gripper with a wrench, remove the two countersunk screws, and remove the gripper for replacement. According to the need to adjust the pressure head after installation and sample fixed sleeve hole concentric, and then tighten the two nuts.

 1.insert one end of the trachea into the quick-change joint at the back of the grinding head and the other end into the joint of the air source.

Note: The air supply should meet the following requirements: input pressure should be between 0.4-0.7 mpa; must be filtered by the filter, filter precision 40um.

  2.nsert the power cord connector into the power cord interface at the rear of the grinding and polishing seat.

Keyboard operation and display

• The liquid crystal display displays the time, rotate speed and rotate direction from top to bottom.
• Stepless speed regulation is to increase the speed. It can be adjusted at stop or run time.

• Machine Speed 200 rpm
• Set Speed 2 select 600 rpm
• 800 rpm is selected for constant speed operation
• 1,000 rpm for constant speed
• Positive/negative: select the direction of the grinding disc, if the current positive rotation, click reverse.
• When using this machine, the pressure gauge should be adjusted to 0.1 mpa at first, then turn the knob (+) to increase the pressure gradually when the machine is running.
