1. Safety warnings and symbols
Dangers:
  1. high temperature scald: the working temperature of the hot pressing plate can reach more than 200 °C. wear thermal insulation gloves when operating.
  2. high pressure risk * * : do not adjust the mold or clean the foreign body when the equipment is pressurized.
  3. emergency stop button * * : press immediately when the device is abnormal (red button on the right side of the control panel) .

2. Equipment Overview

2.1 uses: for hot-pressing forming, laminating or edge sealing of plastic sheets, composite materials, films and other materials.

2.2 core functions:
  • driven by servo motor, pressure control accuracy ± 1% .
  • dual temperature zone PID temperature control (upper/lower hot platen independent temperature control) .
  • the touch screen sets the parameters of pressure, temperature and holding time in three stages.

4. Installation and debugging
4.1 installation steps
  1. Place the equipment on a horizontal surface with ≥30 cm of room for heat dissipation.
  2. Connect power supply (3-phase 5-wire ground) to cooling water pipe (if equipped with water cooling system) .
Install the mold:
  • turn off the power and align the mold with the locating pins.
  • bolt the upper and lower dies to ensure parallelism ≤0.05 mm.
4.2 first start-up debugging
  1. After power-on, enter the“System self-test" to check whether the temperature sensor and pressure sensor are normal.
  2. Set the temperature curve on the touch screen (e.g. , 5 °C/min) .
  3. No-load trial operation: Test the mold opening and closing action in manual mode, and confirm no clamping stagnation.
5. Operation Process
5.1 conventional hot-pressing operation
  1. Preheating:
    • set the target temperature (e.g. 180 °C) , click“Hot start", and continue after the temperature indicator is always on.
  2. Loading:
    • lay the material flat into the lower die to avoid overlap.
  3. Initiate lamination:
    • select the preset procedure (or manually enter the pressure and holding time) and press“Auto run".
Pick Up:

- after the buzzer finishes, remove the workpiece with thermal gloves.

5.2 die changing operation
  1. Turn off the heat until the temperature drops below 60 °C.
  2. Use special tools to remove the mold and clean up the residue.
  3. The pressure zero must be recalibrated after the new die is installed (see section 6.2) .
6. Temperature/pressure settings
6.1 temperature control
  • go to the“Temperature setting" screen and set:
  • upper/lower panel independent temperature
  • temperature rise overshoot protection (recommended ≤10 °C)
6.2 pressure calibration
  1. Enter the“Pressure calibration" menu under no-load condition.
  2. Slowly pressurize to full scale as indicated and the system will automatically record zero.
7. maintenance

Hot Plate cleaning Daily WIPE silicone oil with a soft cloth to prevent sticking (do not use metal scrapers)

8. Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
