1.Scope of use: the gel timer easily measures the gelation time of resin plastics, adhesives, drying oils, two-component elastomers, coatings, and other hardened liquids at room temperature-a simple device for simple testing. Low-torque synchronous motors rotate specially shaped stirrers in test samples. When gelation occurs, the resistance exceeds the torque, which stops the gear motor and the time-consuming timer, and the gelation time is displayed in hours, minutes, and seconds on the digital display. Even when the power switch is turned off, the test time is displayed until reset.

The instrument uses a disposable cup with the rotor for testing. Take a certain amount of liquid sample into the test cup, put it in the tank at room temperature, hang the rotor, read the zero, press the Start button, the rotor stirs evenly in the sample, near the end of the sample viscosity increases, increase the rotor resistance, at the end, the motor is not enough to drive the rotor, the motor stops running, and the value in the window is the gel time of the sample.

Pour the prepared sample material into a disposable paper cup. Rotate the paper cup into the o-ring retainer until completely in place, then place the paper cup in the base of the device. Insert the bottom of the disposable wire stirrer into the cup and connect the top to the drive spindle, set the time-consuming timer to zero, and turn the device on. When gelation occurs, the time is read out and the cup and Blender are discarded. The gel timer gear motor can remain stalled for a short time without causing harm.
